yeah finally i have visited Universal Studio Singapore (USS). it's like DUFAN in Jakarta but in my opinion, DUFAN has more excitement than USS. It is because USS has less attractions than DUFAN, but still both have its own uniqueness. My favorite are Ancient Egypt and Sci-Fi city! u can see my photos, i'm not in a good mood to write a long review :D or just go jump to FATIN LIYANA's blog, she has the same story like me, but we were not on a team. hehe

SINGAPORE

October 2011 is my blessing moment in my life. The euphoria of Westlife concert wasn’t off yet, another euphoria has come. I have a chance to traveling abroad. Although I wasn’t crossing the continent but still, that was my first experience. Yeay!

This time was Singapore, yes I know some of my friends have been went there before, since Singapore is expanding its tourism site to visit. But I’m so Happy to finally could go there!

I could learn so many things about the culture that is different with my country. It’s like mini Jakarta but far more orderly. I love their transportation system, the airport, the bus, and of course the MRT! That are all very well organized and in a good maintenance. The people in SG have a good rhythm of their daily activity, work in the morning, going back to home or socialized with friends or lovers. It’s a lovely view! I love to observe people on MRT, most of them don’t really like to chit chat, they busy with their own gadget! Yes almost all Singaporean have iphone or galaxy Samsung. Blackberry is not too famous in SG just like in Indonesia where all people worship Blackberry so much. Another goodness I’ve learned from SG is the people, yes, they have a big conscious to obey all the regulation from the government. They are very dynamic people and all the transportation system very support them to  be mobile. You won’t find a driver that keep moving when the traffic light is red, even the road is vacant.  I saw from their face, they are all really love their job, a shop keeper, a driver, a merchant, even a janitor that I saw, always put a smile on their face. Lesson learned, Singapore is a small country that has a big heart, a strong spirit and discipline.  But still, compare to SG, I love Indonesia more, especially for FOOD!

Westlife Gravity Tour 2011 is a miracle!

5 October 2011 was my fantastic day in my life. Two important things were happened. First, It was 7^th anniversary with my boyfie and second is WESTLIFE GRAVITY TOUR in Jakarta. Has been a while, and my dream came true! I am a fan of WESTLIFE since I was 12 yo, and at that time, I couldn’t afford to watch their concert! And can u imagine how happy I am when finally I could buy Westlife ticket concert by my own money? It’s incredible yet exciting moment in my life.

I will write a review about  the concert.

I bought a ticket for tribune 2 , it cost me 600k + 10 % tax and it is the cheapest class for the concert. Festival cost 750k + tax and tribune 1 cost 650k + tax. The venue located in Tennis Indoor Senayan, I never been there before, and people said it is smaller than Istora Senayan. I got there at 5 PM with Puche. The concert would start at 8 PM, the crowd has been started from the time I got there. There wasn’t strict surveillance, the committee were around but didn’t control the spectators. I had a very awful experience while I was in the line of spectators, there was a security who was being messed up with us, he asked me and my friends to move forward because there was a gap in the line, but he asked with very impolite way! My bad impression to the promoter was started!

The gate opened at 7PM, the committee checked our ticket and what inside our bag, but they are so careless, even my friend who brought a video camera could enter the gate.

I’m lil bit disspointed with the venue at tribune 2. The strategic seats have been reserved by the special guest from sponsor. it was very unfair while we spent our money to buy the ticket and the sponsor didn’t, ( yes the company did but not in person). In Fact, so many granny and grandpa were attending the concert (they are from ‘the sponsor family').

The concert was started with XO-IX performance.. yeah the spectators were yelling at them, but I think they were not really bad, I really like their dance performance, more dynamic than SM*SH and the most entertaining part was when they sang Backstreet boys  medley! 

And finally at 20.15 PM Kian, Mark, Nicky and Shane showed up! I can’t find the right words! I’m over excited so that I just could scream their name.. hmmm actually I screamed “NICKKKKKKKKKKYYY”..

The first song that they sang was When You Looking Like That.. since the first song  was an upbeat song , the spectators were getting pushing to the front! And some of them were fainted, the next songs are World Of Our Own, What Makes a Man, Safe, dan Home. After the sang ‘Home’ the drama was started!

Westlife crew stopped the concert since they thought that the concert became dangerous for the spectators. And the most embarrassing thing is the committee could not handle the situation, they just instructed us from the stage without any instruction on the location (festival venue). CHAOS. And so sad westlife crew told that the show will be stopped if they think it’s still dangerous.

30 minutes wasted and the promoter still couldn’t handle the situation until Nicky and Shane shown up and coordinated the spectators from the stage! What ashamed!

Finally Shane told us that they will sing one song and if the condition has back to normal and not dangerous anymore they will continue the show. Yes, the concert was continued, BUT at 22.00 PM they ended the concert, after sang ‘uptown girl’ and say goodbye to us. We couldn’t believe , we thought that they will shown up again! And after saw the crew has tidy up the band equipment, we knew that the concert was really over.. so sad.. they didn’t play the medley , and other songs!

HOW COME? It’s a bad track for the promoter. It is International artist and the promoter didn’t do professionally to handle the concert. And so bad that all media reported that the fault is on the audiences who could not be cooperative! Hey you the PROMOTER! do u know that the capacity of Tennis Indoor is just 4500 people and you forced the 'illegal' audiences to come in so there are 6000 people there? how can we breath? MAR***** is sucks!

I’m so disappointed with the promoter, I have waited this moment for eleven years and the promoter  has succeed to ruin my dream. But over all.. WESTLIFE performance was WICKED COOL!!

I am proud to be their fans, their love to Indonesian fans so BIG! It is proved by their tweet to Indonesian Fans, we are special for WESTLIFE. Thank you Kian, Mark, Shane and Nicky.. we will love u like there will be no end! It is so relieved when Kian twitting that they will come back to Indonesia and they will never give up on Indonesian fans! So sweet to know the fact that Indonesia fans have a special impression for Westlife. 

I LOVE WESTLIFE. And I’m proud of it.

a story from LEBARAN

Lebaran always be an amusing moment in my life, it is once in a year and this moment never leaves a negative impression. Me and all family always happy to welcome Lebaran.
This year was lil bit different since this is the first Lebaran without my grandma. Last year on Lebaran day,  she was sitting on the green chair in front of her room, not in a good condition but at that time we didn't know that was her last lebaran. We miss you a lot mbah uti.. :")
This year, i'm so dissapointed with the government, they set a different date of Lebaran which has been scheduled on the calender And what happened was the difference date of 1st of Syawal and many housewives had cooked lebaran dish two day before Lebaran day that has been set by the government. it's funny when many people had eaten opor and ketupat in the last day of their fasting day.
but My family had choosen to celebrate Lebaran based on Muhamadiyah decision because it was the same decision with Saudi Arabia government. I won't offend anyone who had chosen different day of lebaran with me, as long as they have a strong faith in their hearts, because only Allah SWT who knows the righteous.

yeah and this is it LEBARAN ..means foods, cookies, new wadrobe, new heart, meet relatives, and sharing money to my cousins, niece and nephew! it's all about excitement!

MARI BERHIJAB

There is an important thing i wanna share you, i've found a great blog lately, it is MARI BERHIJAB !
if I'm not mistaken, the creator of this Mari Berjilbab movement is Ola Aswandi , i knew her through twitter and she is also one of blogger ( Haura Insiyah ) and part of Hijabers Community Committee.

i've once thought about this concept but yeahh.. it still leave in my mind until now, and thanks to Ola who has made 'my concept' into reality.
I've sent my story to email mariberhijab@gmail.com and has been post two days ago.

Subhanallah, you can read lots' stories from our sisters in different ages and background. The stories are so inspiring. I wish this movement can be something BIG in the future and there are a lot of muslimah who haven't wearing hijab could make up their mind to hijrah and cover their head with jilbab.  Amin ya Rabb.

misleading intention

I feel like someone slapped on my face hardly after I read this post. Thank you anyway for Maria Elena for her great post. Last night I read someone tweeted in my timeline, he said that it’s not impossible to a woman who is having her period to get Lailatul Qadr. And now in my having period I feel that a hidayah has come to me. It’s in coincidental or this is just the Allah SWT shows me the way, but anything it could be, I thank a lot for this enlightenment. 

It begins yesterday when I saw an announcement for 50 semifinalist of Muslimah Beauty 2011. Honestly, three days before the announcement day, my little heart says that it is not me, it is a fake if I had to follow the rules. Common, be a role model for muslimah? I’m too cocky if I thought I could be. Who am i? I’m still full of mistakes, I’m too far from being even near perfect!. And I look back to some my answers that were asked by some of my friends and other participants of Muslimah Beauty 2011, it isn’t me, it is the one I wanna be someday, but not yet. To be (near) perfect needs lots’ process, it is not a ‘voila’ process. I’m learning a lot. I asked to myself, what’s the point to be like I’m now, trying to look beautiful, insist to have stuffs exactly the same that features on the magazine or blog, making my look attractive day by day, and what for it’s all about? A glance of men’s eyes staring at me? Abundance compliments? Or don’t I ever think, is Allah satisfied with what I have done?.

I’m not offending anyone else, but the questions are dedicated for myself.

To be beautiful for a woman is not a bad deed. But Islam has its command and I believe it is a  goodness for us. 

I really like and adore some community that has made Head Cover/jilbab more attractive, subhanallah I believe that they has changed many Muslim women into a decision to cover their hair with scarf. They’ve created many styles to make Muslim women more attractive with their jilbab. 

But when things come into consumerism, like every day they want to shop a very glamorous dress, expensive scarf or pricey shoes only for the sake of ‘Follow the fashion GODDESS’ , it become misleading.

The intention is straying. Covering your hair is not because Allah SWT anymore. The modesty is lost.

At the end, I realized, that I’m running on the wrong path, I’m tired but the result is null.

I’ve once answer a question from one of my friend like this : Islam is simple. Allah SWT never let us trapped in difficulties. Everything has its answer, has its own way out. The only thing that makes things seem so complicated is us. 

Subhanallah, I have that concept in my mind, but sometimes I forget and not apply that in my life. I hope from now on, I can back to the right path where Allah SWT ridho with me.

couple weeks ago i went to Taman Safari Indonesia in Cisarua Bogor,, it's been very long time i haven't went there! maybe 10 or more years ago,, and i always remember that Taman Safari Indonesia was the only place in my country where i was able to interact with  animal baby, and they were crazy cute! i'm so excited when my uncle asked me and other family members to go to Safari Night at Taman Safari Indonesia. That was my first experience since i always go there on the afternoon. When my family arrived there, we go straight to a carnaval bus, it's kinda open mini bus, so we can feel the real atmosphere there. it was quite cold at that time. My family took the first row at the bus, behind the driver and co driver who explained all the details about animal we've seen there. Oh Masha Allah, i was amazed by these God's creature, they are all super cute (except the Batik Python, ohh i don't really like snake or any other reptile). That is the first time i saw rhinoceros, Ilama, and jaguar!. after that, we go to baby zoo area where we can take a picture with some baby animal like lion, tiger, and orangutan. I'm very proud of my country as many animals origins come from Indonesia such as orangutan, Sumatran tiger, rhinoceros etc. done with the baby animal, we went to an animal show played by orang utan, some dogs, and snake (the snake was put on a spectator's seat, OMG maybe if the snake is right on the desk i was seated i would be fainted!). and the last show we watched there is Fire dance! it's a spectacular show, and they (the dancer) are all amazing and magical!. That was a very fun saturday night with my family and i'm thinking to be an animal keeper someday.. or take care of many kinds of animal in my home.. (build my own zoo), i wish... hahaha..

the baby sumatran tiger was sleeping and he wasn't awaken at all when many visitor took a picture with him. ohh so cute!

Shane, Mark, Kian and NICKY (minus Bryan as he left the group on 2004) will be in Jakarta at 5th of October this Year!

i really want to watch their performance since WESTLIFE is my favorite band since i was in Junior High School!
i've been watching their Gravity Tour 2011 video on you tube, and a lil bit amazed to see their performance, so many thing has been changed! especially they physical appearance, they are far more mature (of course) but unfortunately their tummy become so big and bigger, especially MARK! wowowowowooo...but their performance is better than the three last concert in Indonesia, since they don't use 'minus one' anymore but will be equipped with new touring band and musical director! i'm so curios with their choreograph on stage!
so let's see if i can afford to watch their live performance or not ! we'll see later..

Be Creative

it’s quite boring lately to face my daily routines, sit on my desk in office, staring 8 hours, even more, to the PC and I realized I’ve lost my quality time. I should have smarter than anyone else even from my friends, who work ‘outside the office’, cause I’ve got many access to ‘the universe’, my boss provide me with internet access (no limit and no blocking), cable tv, telephone and newspapers, and it is ridiculous if I don’t make a use of that facilities. And yes, I’m a lil bit late to realize that. Why I don’t make something useful for me, than only do a trashy browsing, blog walking or stalking people all day long hohoho.. and I found the idea to watch some D.I.Y tutorial so that I can make useful my time in the future. Jump to the old time, I was a creative smart ass kid! Hehehe I remember I made my barbie’s dress by myself, I went to a tailor in my neighborhood and asked her for some patchwork fabrics that I used to make my barbie’s dress and I sewed it manually.  I also made some modification of my old school stuffs, sewed, glued, and created a new thing from some old stuffs used to be my favorite activity, but not at the present, my creativity is hampered and now I want to rise it up again!  :)

i was frickin sad to know my lovely cat slip out from my house last night.. and when i saw my last post in this blog, i can't hold my tears anymore.. i can't believe that Chilo is not here anymore.. i don't have any idea where he is now, but i really hope that Chilo will find the way to my house.. God save Chilo anywhere he is.. i really love Chilo and don't wanna loose him :( Chilo is my treasure.. it's not like you lost a thing and you can replace with other things similar to the one u've lost.. i don't want others but him.. please come home Chilo :(

*I read this article, and it make me cry a river! i am so terrified..  i keep thinking of some negative possibilities Chilo has been through.. especially if it is because human intervention.. i only can trust my God, only God will be the best Guardian for Chilo..

i miss sleep peacefully

 

I really envy how Chilo can be so peaceful while he's sleeping.

i've lost my concord lately.

i feel homeless.

It's literally that my house is being renovated for the second time, 

and i can't use my own room.

everynight I sleep here, there, everywhere with no peacefulness.

beside, the quarter life syndrome is still haunted me.

i really want a new job. 

a job that goes along with my passion.

that can make a single wide smile every time i wake up in the morning.

it's not a job of my parents' dream

it's not a job of people prestigious

it's not a job where you just dig a gold without get any peacefulness.

i envy lot of my friends who have chance to follow their passion.

i don't know it's too late for me or not.

but i don't want to stuck on this life i'm going through now. 

i want a new job.
